Behaviour support that meets your learner where they are

At The Haven Practice, we provide individualised behaviour-analytic support for learners in the places everyday life happens. Our current services are delivered in the home and at school, allowing our practitioners to understand each learner within their natural environment and build skills that are meaningful, practical and relevant to their everyday lives.

We begin by asking what the learner needs to learn, what matters to them and their family, and how we can help them participate more fully and independently in their world. Every programme is grounded in behavioural science and shaped by dignity, autonomy, choice and respect for the person behind the behaviour.

How It Works

01
Consultation
We start with a conversation to understand your learner and the support you’re looking for.
02
Assessment
We get to know your learner, their strengths, needs, environment and family priorities.
03
Your Support Plan
We recommend appropriate support, discuss frequency and fees, and agree on the next steps with you.
04
Practitioner Match
We thoughtfully match your learner with a practitioner suited to their needs.
05
Support Begins
Once onboarding is complete, your practitioner begins sessions with ongoing clinical supervision.
06
Review & Grow
We review progress regularly and adjust goals and support as your learner’s needs evolve.

Who We Support

Every learner has different strengths, needs and goals. Their support should reflect that.

The Haven Practice supports learners who may benefit from individualised support in areas such as:

CommunicationDaily livingIndependenceEmotional regulationSelf-advocacySocial participationBehaviour in the way of everyday life

We don’t require a learner to fit a particular programme. We understand where they are, identify what matters to them and their family, and build support from there.

Not sure what support looks like yet? That’s okay. Tell us a little about your learner, what matters to your family, and where you could use some support. We’ll take it from there.
